A6 2.7T

 Model of the car:A6 2.7T
General comments:I test drove both the Audi A6 2.7T with automatic and manual transmission and the BMW 525, and 530 with and without stick and sport transmission. I ordered a 530 with stick and sport package. The Audi is a great luxury car that performs well and the BMW is a great performance car that is luxurious. The BMW says drive me and the Audi says ride me. Personal preference, I opted for the 530 with sport package and manual transmission. However, if you are considering a non sport 530 with an automatic, take a hard look at the 2.7T. Since only 2 in 15 530s come with a manual and even fewer with the sport suspension, that means most BMW buyers would be better served by the 2.7T. (IMO)Note, the 2.7T 6 speed is a pain, and requires constant shifting. Get the automatic for the Audi. If you want the sport suspension, get a BMW. If you get an E-class Benz, you wasted your money.
What things have gone wrong with the car:Poor head room, particularly in the back.Floats on rails instead of driving on rails.Despite the specs, the 5 series has better rear leg room.
 Previous car:BMW 530
